Mother-daughter time! Katie Holmes shared a series of photos with her mini-me, Suri Cruise, as they celebrated the actress' 38th birthday on Sunday, December 18. Find out more in the video above, and detailed below!
"Birthday vibes," Holmes captioned an Instagram photo with her 10-year-old daughter, whom she shares with ex-husband Tom Cruise. The birthday girl then posted another shot of Suri smiling for the camera. "So grateful today," Holmes wrote alongside several red and pink heart emojis.
The Batman Begins actress also shared pictures of birthday hats, party decorations and food from the celebration on Instagram. "Thank you for the birthday love I really appreciate it," she told her 667 thousand followers before uploading a picture at a bowling alley. "Showing strength in bumper bowling lol #birthdayfun," Holmes captioned the shot.
The Instagram posts came after Us Weekly exclusively reported that the Dawson's Creek alum jetted to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, with her boyfriend, Jamie Foxx, for a private vacation over the weekend. The notoriously low-key couple left early Friday, December 16, and returned home late Saturday, December 17. "It was a quick trip in honor of Katie's birthday," a source told Us.
Holmes and Foxx, 49, stayed "in one of the most private suites" at the luxe Las Ventanas al Paraíso, a Rosewood Resort, the insider said, adding, "They wanted to be very discreet and had everything delivered to their room and taken care of by a personal butler."
Suri did not travel to Cabo with her mom and the actor, who started secretly dating in October 2013, a year after Holmes' divorce from Cruise, 54.
