It’s a girl! Sunset Beach alum Ashley Hamilton and his girlfriend, Renee Karalian, welcomed a daughter Tuesday, November 15, in Los Angeles, his rep confirms exclusively to Us Weekly.
The couple named their baby girl, who is their first child together and was born via C-section, Willow, Us Weekly can confirm.
Hamilton’s parents, George Hamilton and Alana Stewart, were present at the time, the rep tells Us. The new dad, 42, and his entertainment lawyer girlfriend have been dating for more than a year.
November has already been full of excitement for the actor, who will star alongside Warren Beatty and Lily Collins in Rules Don’t Apply (in theaters November 23), a romantic drama about Howard Hughes.
Before falling in love with Karalian, the season 9 Dancing With the Stars contestant was wed to Shannen Doherty in 1993. Although the marriage lasted just five months, it seems the exes have remained on friendly terms over the years. Before Hamilton began competing for the Mirror Ball trophy in 2009, the former Beverly Hills, 90210 star admitted to Us Weekly that she had high expectations for her former love.
“I’m sure the women will vote for him because he’s gorgeous,” she said. “So he’ll do very well.” Doherty also told Us at the time that Hamilton is a “great guy.”
