“I had to take 17 women to Napa,” he revealed on Harry Friday, December 2.

The American Idol host ended up with the duty because, “I was the lead bridesmaid,” he told Harry Connick Jr. of the job he landed in October 2015. “I called my sister and said, ‘What does it mean 'man of honor'?’ and she said, ‘Well you’ve got to do everything that the maid of honor would do.’ I said, ‘A bachelorette party?’ She said, ‘Yeah.’”

“There were limited bathrooms for 17 women,” the Atlanta native explained. “They did a pretty good job but that was the biggest hurdle was telling them what time they had to be ready and what time reality was.”

Despite the stress, Seacrest enjoyed the experience. “It was really, really cool,” he continued. “I was very emotional but so proud of my little sister.”

The radio personality added that he also played a role in dressing his sister’s wedding party for the big day in, of course, selections from his fashion line. “In Distinction suits, blue suits,” said Seacrest. “That was cool!”

He even gave Macy's, where the Distinction line retails, a shout-out following the I do's, writing on Instagram November 6, “Mere was a stunning bride yesterday, but I gotta thank everyone behind-the-scenes at @seacreststyle @toms and @macys for helping me and the boys keep up!"

Another revelation Seacrest made on the show: He almost skipped out on Idol in favor of hosting Family Feud

"I got a call saying, 'Look, I think we're going to make a deal for you to be the host, but there might be something else in the pipeline,'" he said in the clip, above.

The unnamed alternative ended up being the singing competition where Seacrest got his break. "Something in the back of my mind said, 'Just hold on,'" continued the E! star. "It turned out that I waited and Idol was the show."
