She’s back! Two months after welcoming her second child, Kerry Washington made her grand return to the red carpet at the Ambassadors for Humanity Gala Benefiting the USC Shoah Foundation in Hollywood on Thursday, December 8.
The Scandal star, 39 — who welcomed her baby boy, Caleb, on October 5 — stunned in a structured floral minidress with a plunging neckline by Philipp Plein, cut to showcase her already teeny waistline. She accessorized the ensemble with a black Jimmy Choo clutch, an embellished choker, Anita Ko ear cuffs and Gianvito Rossi sandals.
And she wasn’t the only one who turned it out! Washington was joined by her husband, Nnamdi Asomugha, who looked especially handsome in a crisp blue suit with a white button-up, a skinny tie and a pocket square.
While the pair, who also share daughter Isabelle, 2, posed separately on the red carpet, they were inseparable inside, where they were snapped chatting with Steven Spielberg and his father, Arnold Spielberg.
The event, which honored George Lucas and Melody Hobson with the Ambassadors for Humanity Award for embodying the foundation’s mission to promote tolerance and respect, was also attended by Lucas’ repeat star Harrison Ford, as well as J.J. Abrams, Jesse Jackson and James Corden.
