Another day, another celeb haircut! Pretty Little Liars actress Shay Mitchell joined the ranks of stars who've been chopping off their long locks in favor of shorter styles this fall, but unlike Jennifer Lawrence, Jennifer Hudson, and Pamela Anderson before her, she declined to go for a full-on pixie.
Instead, the 26-year-old Canadian traded her mid-back-length brunette tresses for a chic shoulder-length style. She first debuted the look in a picture on Instagram — while she was still in the salon chair!
"Chop chop!!!" she captioned the snapshot, which shows her jokingly wielding a pair of scissors while her stylist, Daven Mayeda, stands behind her with a curling iron. "Omg!!! Bye bye long hair!"
Later that night, she took her new 'do for a spin on the red carpet. Rocking a black tuxedo-inspired dress and smoky eyes, the ABC Family star showed off her cropped, curly hair at an event for Revolve clothing.
"Short hair don't care," she wrote alongside another photo, of her and a pal modeling their shoulder-length styles in a series of funny shots. "#justkiddingstillhavelonghair," she hashtagged the post on Instagram.
