Britney Spears is keeping it in the family! The pop princess tweeted out the official track list for her upcoming album, Britney Jean, which features several special guests, including her younger sister Jamie Lynn Spears.
“Sneaky hackers always trying to ruin my surprises,” Spears, 31, tweeted late Wednesday, Nov. 12 to her 34 million-plus followers. “Here is the TRUE #BritneyJeanTrackList,” the singer wrote, with links to the iTunes Preview page of her deluxe album version and a picture of the official track list. The younger Spears sister, 22, joins Britney on the duet “Chillin’ With You.” Britney gushes, “So SOOO beyond excited to have my baby sis @jamielynnspears on the album. <3 <3 <3 And @Tip!!! My homie :).”
Jamie Lynn then followed up on Twitter, writing: “I’m excited to work with my sis, but even moreee excited for y’all to hear what I’ve been working sooo hard on the past 5 years! #staytuned.” The former Nickelodeon star made headlines when she announced at age 16 her pregnancy with Casey Aldridge. The young parents welcomed her daughter Maddie Briann Aldridge in 2008, despite ending their relationship in 2010.
Other collaborators on Spears’ eighth studio album include will.i.am and T.I., who have previously worked with Spears on 2012’s mega hit “Scream & Shout” and 2007’s “Gimme More” respectively. “I poured my heart and should into this album and it’s been an incredible journey,” Spears wrote to fans last month. “I’ve learned a lot about myself and as I am finishing, I am reminded of the incredible foundation that has supported me for the last 15 years.”
Two tracks have already been released from Britney Jean — dance anthem “Work Bitch” hit airwaves in September, and ballad “Perfume” which debuted last Tuesday, Nov. 5. Britney Jean will officially drop on Dec. 3, ahead of her two-year residency in Las Vegas starting Dec. 27.
