MTV Movie Awards 2012: Bridesmaids, The Hunger Games Top Nominees List

Bridesmaids and The Hungers Games are the movies to beat at the 2012 MTV Movie Awards.

Both films earned eight nominations each compared to The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1 only earning two. And Twilight stars Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart have some serious competition in Best Kiss category this year after winning it three years in a row.

Ryan Gosling and Emma Stone are nominated for their smooch in Crazy, Stupid, Love and Rachel McAdams and Channing Tatum are up for The Vow. Jennifer Lawrence and Josh Hutcherson also received a nomination for cave kiss in The Hunger Games and Ruper Grint and Emma Watson’s long-awaited kiss in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Part 2 did not go unnoticed.

A host for this year’s MTV Movie Awards has yet to be announced, but a date is set. Golden Popcorn trophies will be handed out live from the Gibson Amphitheatre in Universal City, Calif. at 9 p.m. ET on Sunday, June 3.
