The votes are in and tonight’s (Dec. 17) live finale of The Voice season 5 will crown one of the three finalists the winner. Monday night’s final performances featured three songs each from Team Adam Levine contestants Tessanne Chin and Will Champlin and Team Christina Aguilera‘s Jacquie Lee. But it was Lee’s final performance of the night that earned her some major celebrity recognition.

The 16-year-old New Jersey native took to the stage in a silver sequin-covered dress, singing “And I Am Telling You I’m Not Going” from the 1981 Broadway musical Dreamgirls

American Idol alum Jennifer Hudson, whose rendition of the iconic song in the 2006 Dreamgirls film adaptation helped win her an Oscar, quickly tweeted her support for the young contestant, following the powerful performance.

“I know who I’m voting for! @jacquieleemusic killed it on the #VoiceFinale. #TeamXtina,” the 32-year-old star tweeted

And Hudson wasn’t the only A-Lister to declare her support for the “little girl with the big voice.” Lady Gaga also took to Twitter, reaching out to the young contestant. The queen of the Little Monsters herself tweeted, “Been catching up on THE VOICE, I love @jacquieleemusic Beautiful girl with a beautiful voice! Vote for her monsters,” and later, “@jacquieleemusic good luck tonight, nothing like lil’ girl with BIG voice. Don’t be nervous, just be yourself!”

The “Beautiful” singer was in a rumored feud with the “Applause” artist back in 2008, but in a September 2013 Watch What Happens Live appearance, Gaga cleared up the “fight.”

“I’m a very big fan of Christina Aguilera,” she said. “From the very beginning of when my career started there was all this controversy about the two of us, and I always felt that it was very unfair to her.”

Xtina and her aspiring artist also sang a duet of the chart-topper’s recent track from the Hunger Games: Catching Fire soundtrack, “We Remain.” This is the first time one of Aguilera’s contestants has made it to the finals since The Voice changed its rule that each coach must be represented in the finale following complaints in season 2. For the show’s first two seasons, America voted on contestants, but each artist moved on within their own team and didn’t compete against the other coaches’ teams until the finale.

Coach Blake Shelton won the competition three seasons in a row, but his final contestant, Cole Vosbury, was eliminated after making it to the Top 5.

Aguilera took off season 4 to promote her seventh studio album Lotus, and Colombian singing sensation Shakira filled her seat. The “Whenever Wherever” singer will return in the spring along with coach Usher, who will once again be filling in for Cee Lo Green, for season 6.
