Jessica Simpson was photographed for the first time in about two weeks. Over the weekend, the pregnant star, 31, emerged for a drive with husband-to-be Eric Johnson near their home in Los Angeles.
(A source confirms that the Fashion Star mentor, engaged to former NFL pro Johnson since fall 2010, hasn’t yet given birth to the couple’s first child, a daughter.)
Even fellow celebs are getting antsy for the singer and designer to give birth. Late last week, both Katy Perry and Chelsea Handler wondered aloud — via Twitter, of course — exactly when Simpson’s bundle of joy would arrive.
“Has Jessica Simpson had that baby yet?! I’m getting anxious,” singer Perry, 27, Tweeted on Thursday.
Echoed comic Handler, 37: “How has jessica simpson still not given birth to this baby? I’m getting frightened,” she wrote.
By mid-March the first-time mom-to-be said she was getting tired of being pregnant — and her endlessly talked about baby bump.
“I feel like I have a bowling ball sitting on my hoo-ha!” Simpson said on Jimmy Kimmel LIVE! “Apparently I have a lot of amniotic fluid, so whenever my water breaks it will be like a fire hydrant!”
