Jimmy Fallon, Justin Timberlake Perform “History of Rap 5” on The Tonight Show: Video

Best karaoke ever? Jimmy Fallon finished out his first week as host of The Tonight Show on a high note — literally. The TV personality’s pal Justin Timberlake made an appearance Friday night, and the pair performed their fifth installment of “History of Rap 5.”

Fallon, 39, and Timberlake, 33, surprised the audience as the friends slowly revealed microphones that were hidden behind Fallon’s desk. They quickly made their way to the floor and belted out tunes to the screaming crowd for five minutes. The medley included hits from Salt-N-Pepa, LL Cool J, Beastie Boys, and Jay Z. They also rocked out to the Fresh Prince of Bel Air theme song and finished out with Run DMC‘s “Walk This Way.”

The “Suit & Tie” entertainer has been under the weather as of late, but didn’t show any signs during the segment. He tweeted on Friday 19 that he had to postpone his show at Madison Square Garden in NYC “due to health reasons.”

Timberlake previously reunited with Fallon when the comedian hosted Saturday Night Live in late December.
