Charlotte Dawson has died at the age of 47. The former Australia's Next Top Model judge was found dead at her home in Sydney on Saturday, Feb. 22.

"Dear Fans, you may have heard the tragic news today about Charlotte Dawson," the show's official Facebook page posted. "Foxtel has said: 'This is tragic news and deeply sad. Everyone at Foxtel is devastated. Our sympathies are with Charlotte's family and friends.'" (Foxtel is the series' broadcaster.) 

New Zealand Prime Minister John Key also commented about the native's tragic passing. "Shocked and saddened to hear of Charlotte Dawson’s death," he wrote via Twitter.

In her earlier years, Dawson modeled in both Europe and New York for a decade before moving to Australia. She appeared on Next Top Model from 2007 to 2011, and also joined the Australian version of The Celebrity Apprentice in 2012. According to BBC, the TV personality has had a history of depression and was admitted to a hospital after being cyber bullied in 2012. She joined the anti-bullying organization Angels Goal as a spokesperson that same year.

Dawson was previously married to Olympic swimmer Scott Miller. The pair tied the knot in 1999 and divorced two years later.
