Days after production on her ABC sitcom, Cougar Town, was halted to address a "family matter," series star Courteney Cox is going back to work.
The 45-year-old actress, who did not disclose the issue that prevented cameras from rolling last week, will resume production on the divorcee comedy on Monday.
Cox, along with the crew of the freshman series, scrapped Friday's shooting schedule and are on a planned holiday hiatus this week, E! reports.
"We can confirm production on Cougar Town has been temporarily shut down in order for Courteney to deal with a private family matter," ABC told Usmagazine.com in a statement Saturday.
The actress' husband, David Arquette, has continued work on his independent film, The Land of the Astronauts in Los Angeles and the surrounding area for the last two weeks. A source insists to E! that Arquette has worked as normal with "no apparent" family issues interfering.
Cox and Arquette, 38, have been married since 1999 and have a 5-year-old daughter, Coco.
