Lindsay Lohan is lending her support to Mitt Romney's campaign.
While Vice President Joe Biden and Congressman Paul Ryan were engaged in the Vice Presidential debate Thursday, the 26-year-old actress stepped out at Mr Pink's Ginseng Drink event at the Regent Beverly Wilshire in Beverly Hills that same night and weighed in on the election.
"I just think employment is really important right now," a newly red-headed Lohan told told E! News. "So, as of now, Mitt Romney. As of now."
"It's a long story," she added, without providing further explanation.
The actress will be starring in Lifetime's Original Movie, Liz & Dick, as Elizabeth Taylor, which is her first major film role since 2009's Labor Pains.
Model Chrissy Teigen weighed in on Lohan's comment, tweeting Friday, "Lindsay Lohan voting Romney. Says employment is important to her right now. These write themselves."
On Sept. 6, Lohan responded to a tweet by President Barack Obama during the Democratic National Convention that stated, "I've cut taxes for those who need it: middle-class families, small businesses — President Obama." Lohan wrote back, "Barack Obama we also need to cut them for those that are listed on Forbes as 'millionaires' if they are not, you must consider that as well."
