Newly single Demi Lovato is sporting lighter locks in the wake of her recent breakup with ex Joe Jonas.
"I love, love, love my new hair! It's so light!" Lovato, 17, Twittered Monday. "I have blonde in my hair. Ahhhhh!"
The Sonny With a Chance star — who sported a jet black mane in late May — also Tweeted that she "fixed some highlights" before jetting off to "an exotic location for a week of vacation!"
When she returns, Lovato will join Jonas, 20, for the Camp Rock tour beginning July 29 in San Antonio, Texas.
The two confirmed their split May 24 after just a few months of dating.
"Demi and I knew going into our romantic relationship that it may not be an easy one," Jonas said in a statement to UsMagazine.com. "I realize over the time we have shared together that I feel I care more about our friendship right now. It was my choice to breakup, but I love her as a friend. She's been there for me when I needed her. I will continue to be her friend and be there for her."
