Gabby Douglas is having quite a busy week!

One night after she led the Pledge of Allegiance at the Democratic National Convention in Charlotte, North Carolina, the 16-year-old athlete joined the other members of the Fierce Five — McKayla Maroney, 16, Kyla Ross, 15, Jordyn Wieber, 17, and Aly Raisman, 18 — at the MTV Video Music Awards in L.A. September 6.

Towards the end of the show, the U.S. gold-medal-winning gymnasts introduced Alicia Keys, 31, who sang her new single, “Girl on Fire.” Midway through the song, rapper Nicki Minaj, 29, appeared on stage to perform her verse.

“Took me on the balcony, telling me to jump with her/ Yeah, I’m in the ghost but I ain’t doing stunts with her/ I ain’t trying to be that, haters want to see that/ But I got ’em aggy, cause I win the gold like Gabby,” Minaj rapped.
