Bachelorette Ali Fedotowsky is making a huge mistake, season 4's DeAnna Pappas tells UsMagazine.com.
"Ali only has eyes for Roberto and I made the same mistake on my season," says Pappas, 28.
Despite being warned by producers not to focus on one guy, Pappas "only had eyes for Graham," she admits, who played "hard to get — and made me want him more."
Pappas planned on having Graham and Jeremy in her final two, but was "thrown for a loop" when he left the season early. She ended up picking Jesse Csincsak — but called off her engagement from him just four months later.
"Same thing with Ali. You can tell she really likes Roberto. The sexual chemistry is there, she thinks he's hot, she's into him. But the problem is she's focusing on him too much and bypassing the other people," warns Pappas. "You wake up at the end thinking, 'I should have given this guy a chance four weeks ago.'"
Regardless, Pappas still thinks Fedotowsky, 25, is going home alone at the end of the season. "She won't accept the proposal because she's not ready to be proposed to yet, and then there will be an After the Final Rose special where they'll say, 'Can we please date?'" she speculates. "They're really setting up viewers to show that she is scared to fall for someone."
Pappas wasn't too surprised that she cut Kasey Kahl, a 27-year-old advertising executive from Clovis, Calif., who got a six-inch tattoo on last week's episode to try to woo Fedotowsky.
"Five minutes after he showed her the tattoo, she probably sat with the producers saying 'What the hell is wrong with this guy?' Poor Ali!" jokes Pappas. " Ali held it together better than I could have… Even if he hadn't shown her the tattoo, he was going anyway. He's quite awkward. I don't think Ali found him the least bit attractive from the moment he walked in the door."
Pappas thought viewers never got to know Chris Nordhorn, a 29-year-old entrepreneur from Orlando, Fla., who was also given the boot. "It's easy to get lost, especially when you're normally a shy person and can't talk about your feelings or don't like being put on the spot."
