Reality TV went too far this time.

Tonya Cooley, a cast member of MTV's The Real World/Road Rules Challenge: The Ruins, alleges that males on the show sexually assaulted her during production, TMZ reports. In a lawsuit obtained by the site, Cooley is suing MTV Bunim/Murray Productions and those involved with the show for knowingly condoning the assault, including one instance of being raped with a toothbrush.

The reality star claims that the abuse happened when she was passed out cold, and cameras were filming. According to TMZ, Cooley claims the show's producers knew about the rape, replaced the toothbrush in question, and never told her what occurred.

Cooley's suit also alleges that male cast members were encouraged by producers to "inappropriately touch female cast members' bodies, including in intimate areas."

She also claims in the lawsuit that she and other female cast members reported the sexual abuse but nothing was done.

According to TMZ, Cooley claims she was kicked off the show for slapping another cast member, yet no disciplinary action was taken against the men who allegedly raped her.
