Sandra Bullock made a surprise appearance Tuesday at the Nashville Rising concert for flood relief.
The crowd went crazy as Bullock, 45, walked on stage to introduce Faith Hill, wife of her Blind Side costar Tim McGraw.
“They say a community is only as strong as its weakest link,” Bullock told the crowd, according to the Tennessean. “And from where I stand, I see no weak links.”
Bullock said when McGraw approached her about participating in the benefit, it was a no-brainer.
Initially, she said she thought, "I'll have a wardrobe malfunction or do something interesting. But when they told me how much you all contributed, I realized I had to do more than be funny. So, I’m going to contribute some music and do it Nashville style.”
She then pulled up a stool, whipped out an acoustic guitar across her lap and tried to play Deep Purple’s “Smoke on the Water.”
“If I could have some quiet, please,” she joked. See the top 10 celebrity bands.
After a few bars, Bullock confessed she couldn't play and introduced Hill, whom she described as “disgustingly beautiful” and “extraordinary."
The benefit — which also featured Toby Keith, Taylor Swift, Carrie Underwood, LeAnn Rimes and Miley Cyrus, among others — raised more than $2 million. See more photos from the benefit.
