Another Bachelor couple bites the dust.
Just one month after Tony Pieper proposed to his Bachelor Pad 3 partner-turned-girlfriend Blakeley Shea Jones, the 30-year-old single dad has confirmed the couple have called it quits.
"Unfortunately, things didn't work as we had hoped," Pieper — who presented Jones with a $100,000 Neil Lane diamond on Bachelor Pad's reunion special September 10 — tells Wetpaint. "No one is to blame. It just ended up being a lot harder than we expected. I wish her nothing but the absolute best. She deserves total happiness."
Jones, a former VIP cocktail waitress who first competed for Ben Flajnik's love on The Bachelor in 2010, had relocated Portland, Oregon, to be near her fiance and his 11-year-old son. She is expected to move back to Charlotte, N.C., where she resided prior to her stint on Bachelor Pad 3.
Thirty-four-year-old Jones and Pieper's broken engagement is not the only failed relationship to befall the ABC reality franchise in recent months. Jones' ex Flajnik called off his 11-month engagement to Bachelor winner Courtney Robertson in early October, while Emily Maynard and Jef Holm followed suit two weeks later.
