Aubrey O'Day isn't going to tolerate name-calling.

In a new Q&A with Celebuzz, the Celebrity Apprentice star, 28, is firing back at fellow contestant Arsenio Hall, who she says has "crossed boundaries" in their war of words, resorting to misogynistic slurs.

Referring to a recent episode during which Hall, 56, referred to her as a "slut," the former Danity Kane singer admits she "just had a difficult time seeing [Hall] with the same respect that I had for him going into the situation."

"It was a really strong attack that came out of nowhere, kind of surprising," O'Day shares. "It also had nothing to do with the competition. If you see for the most part, everybody takes jabs at each other, everyone has lost their cool, and everyone displays highs and lows through the competition and season of The Apprentice. But I think that was a moment that . . . was wrapped up with other intentions that had nothing to do with the show."

Adding that she didn't lose her virginity until her senior year of college, O'Day emphasizes that the former talk show host's comments are "degrading. . . across the board," and that Hall shouldn't be given a free pass for that type of language.

"Regardless of whether I had been sexual early on or not, or how many partners I've had is degrading," O'Day asserts. "No one really is evil, and no one really is slutty . . . they're just behaviors and names to degrade people."

The pop star says as she gets older–and becomes more confident in who she is–it's become easier for her to learn to stand up to her detractors. "I think I have been called everything under the book that I am not," O'Day reveals. "I think it starts with . . . slut, whore, and things like that and progresses to bitch or self-centered, egotistical. At the end of the day, once . . . people get tired of that name-calling, they get to a point where you either recognize it or you recognize that you are unable to feel comfortable around someone like that."

And despite Hall's hurtful words, O'Day makes it clear she wouldn't trade her Celebrity Apprentice experience for anything. "You can never regret anything you do in life," she explains. "You kind of have to learn the lesson from whatever the experience is and take it with you on your journey forward."
