Marilyn Monroe would have been 86 Friday — and stars are paying tribute.
Mariah Carey, Michelle Williams and many more stars have taken their turn channeling the iconic actress and took to Twitter Friday to celebrate her birthday.
“Today we celebrate the life of the beloved iconic legend Marilyn Monroe, who continues to inspire generation after generation,” Mariah Carey wrote.
“Happy Birthday Marilyn?,” Lady Gaga tweeted Friday. “They’ll never take our blonde hair and lipstick.” The “Born This Way Singer” also shared a photo of herself emulating Monroe with curly, short blonde hair and dark lips.
Nicki Minaj also wrote, “Happy Birthday Marilyn Monroe! Blows Kiss. Winks.”
