New York Jets quarterback Tim Tebow speaks at Celebration Church in Round Rock, Texas on Easter Sunday about his faith.

Tim Tebow is used to massive crowds of cheering fans — but on Easter Sunday, the buzzed-about football star was the sought-after man of the hour at an outdoor church service, not a game, in Georgetown, Tex.

The famously devout athlete (who was recently traded from the Denver Broncos to the New York Jets) helped lead Celebration Church's Easter on the Hill prayer service in the Austin suburb, and drew an estimated 15,000 to 20,000 worshipers and fans, the New York Times reports.

Taking the stage about halfway through the two-hour service, the 24-year-old NFL star spoke for 20 minutes with Celebration Church's pastor about his own beliefs, and his trademark "Tebow-ing" prayer pose on the football field. "My biggest prayer is to kind of make that cool again, for a high school kid to get on a knee and pray and it's not something that' unique or different," Tebow said. "It's O.K. to be outspoken about your faith."

He also touched upon his news-making trade to the Jets. "Excited to be a Jet," he said. "I'm really looking forward to it . . .I don't know what the future holds, but I know who holds my future."
