I just had lunch with the adorable Michelle Trachtenberg, as she hosted a swanky soirée for Crest's new 3D White collection. Michelle swore that oral healthcare is near and dear to her, as she's on not one, but two shows on HDTV, where having something stuck in your teeth would spell major tragedy.
The Mercy star — who also guests on Gossip Girl from time to time — was super-funny and candid about several subjects beyond teeth. For instance, she told UsMagazine.com that some of her friends poke fun at her paparazzi shots, going so far as to say they know when she'd eaten salt because her face looked puffy! (And she's naturally a dirty blonde and dyes her luxuriously long mane dark chestnut.)
Her skin is unusually pale, super-creamy and even. She told me she'll use any high-SPF drugstore sunscreen on her body, but loves her facialist Kate Somerville's SPF-55 Sunscreen Serum for her face.
And, again, Michelle really uses Crest Whitestrips to heep her pearly whites bright. Another smile secret? She loves Stila Lip Glaze in Vanilla — the high gloss nude reflects light to make her teeth appear whiter. Great tip!
