John Mayer is still getting flack for his wild Playboy interview.
After apologizing for "using the 'N Word'" and making other racially charged statements in the controversial article, the singer, 32, may need to apologize once more.
GLAAD, the Gay and Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation, is upset that he used a gay slur, "f**," in his remarks.
"Just as Mayer indicated in his apology, that he meant no offense in his use of the racist slur, we hope the intent behind his use of the F-word was not malicious," GLAAD wrote on their blog on Thursday night. "As a public figure with millions of fans, Mayer should be more cognizant of the impact his casual use of both slurs can have."
Mayer used the slur when talking about a much-publicized 2007 New Year's Eve kiss with celeb blogger Perez Hilton.
"I can outgay this guy right now," Mayer said, recalling the kiss. "I grabbed him and gave him the dirtiest, tongue-iest kiss I have ever put on anybody — almost as if I hated f**s."
One person surprisingly on Mayer's side?
Holly Robinson Peete, an African-American actress, whom Mayer mentioned in his racially-charged comment.

Although she wrote on her blog that she hates "that anyone would have the impression I condone or excuse racist comments in any context," she said she does "not believe John Mayer is a racist" for his statements.
"But by tweeting he likely wasn't racist … and for seemingly mounting a defense for his racial insensitivities I got Twitter-slapped by my peers and labeled a 'Mammie,'" she added. "And after 25 years in the business that's a first for my resume."
