So much has changed since Jon and Kate Gosselin renewed their vows one year ago this week.
Kate reminisced about the romantic Aug. 12, 2008 ceremony during a teary appearance on the Today show Monday.
Look back on the couple in happier times.
"You know, I go back very often to our vow renewal in Hawaii. I think very often of it, and in that moment, I meant those vows," Kate told Meredith Vieira. "And there was no option for us other than to be together. And so much has changed." On a June 22 episode of Jon & Kate Plus 8, the pair admitted they were separating after 10 years of marriage.

The next month, Jon debuted his relationship with 22-year-old Hailey Glassman, the daughter of the surgeon who performed Kate's free tummy tuck. The father of eight told Usmagazine.com that he'll "always love" Glassman.

This Thursday, police ordered Kate to leave the family's $1.1 million Pennsylvania home when she showed up unexpectedly and Jon refused to let her in the gate. "It was a miscommunication. Kate said she was coming home, and I said, 'Well, it's my time to spend with the kids.' I don't come home when she's with the kids, and vice versa — and that's how it's supposed to be," Jon explained, adding that Kate tried to "cry it up" to convince the cop to let her stay.

Kate admitted that she and Jon would never have a "happily ever after" in an interview that aired on Live! With Regis and Kelly the same day of the blowout fight. "You know, we definitely have different goals at this point," she said. "A lot has changed, a lot of unexpected things have came up."
