Sex and the City Stars Commit to Sequel!

Big news, Sex addicts! Us Weekly reports in its newest issue that Sarah Jessica Parker, 43, Kim Cattrall, 52, Cynthia Nixon, 42, and Kristin Davis, 43, have agreed to appear in the sequel to Sex and the City: The Movie. "Not all the contracts are signed, but everyone is on board," a source tells Us. "It just happened."

Another insider notes that all the leads are getting hefty raises this time around. (Cattrall reportedly held out from doing the first movie for years because of Parker's higher paycheck.) The news is hardly a shocker: The 2008 comedy grossed $150 million — immediately prompting follow-up talk.

In September, Parker told Us she wasn't against the idea. "It's all about the story," she said. "If we can't tell a story that's really worthy of an audience, then we won't do it. "We've been really lucky at this point," she continued. "We've been in people's good graces for a long time, and we take that very seriously. So that's the biggest challenge, the story."

Nixon told Us she has a few ideas for her character, feisty lawyer Miranda Hobbes. "I would love to see her and Carrie and Charlotte and Samantha all go off on some wild mad cap adventure somewhere," she said. Warner Bros. couldn't be reached for comment.
