Sex and the City costumer Patricia Field thinks critics are being way too harsh on the sequel, which has been slammed as "a stinker."

"I read some bad reviews," Field told UsMagazine.com. "They don't get it. Men don't get it."

The chick flick is expected to rake in $60 million over the holiday weekend, and has already earned $3 million from 12:01 showings Thursday morning in 2,000 locations — a 20 hike from the first movie's opening night.
