With Charlie Sheen out of the picture, the cast and crew of Two and a Half Men can finally regain their sense of stability.

On the same day Ashton Kutcher, 33, was named as Sheen's replacement, series star Jon Cryer, 46, told E! News that he's "jazzed" to resume work on the CBS hit.

"For all the rest of the cast and crew I'm sure they are equally excited," Cryer said in a statement. "I want to express my enormous gratitude to Charlie Sheen for eight great seasons. I'm extremely proud of the work we've done together, and I will miss him — but I'm also looking forward to this new beginning."

"Ashton is an extraordinarily talented guy, and his presence will be an asset to our show," Cryer continued. "We are old friends from our male modeling days, and we're both looking forward to being judged for our comedic artistry, as opposed to our exceptional physical beauty."

Sheen, 45 — who was fired in March after a parade of public appearances — is less optimistic about Two and a Half Men's future.

"Enjoy the show America," he told TMZ on Friday. "Enjoy seeing a 2.0 in the demo every Monday, WB."
