Goldman Sachs Trader Turned MC Releases New Single!

When times get tough, the tough start rapping! Former Goldman Sachs stock  trader turned hip-hop star Metis is ready to pounce on the airwaves with his rousing debut single, "Champion."

After rising through the ranks of the fabled financial institution as a junior analyst to become the youngest Proprietary Trader in the firm's history, Metis began writing and laying down rap tracks as a hobby that has now blossomed into a full-fledged career, including collaborations with Kanye West producer 88 Keys. He has won four Exposure Music Awards, including Best Urban Act and Best Live Act, in the UK, which he now calls home.

Of the new track, the MC (who is also in talks to turn his autobiography into a movie!) tells UsMagazine.com: ""Champion" is my debut single, but it has been years in the making. It's a long, challenging, and often lonely road when you decide to put it all on the line and chase your dreams. I wanted to make a powerful, uplifting track that would inspire myself, and others. When I heard the beat for "Champion" that (Jason) Farsight had made. I knew it was the one."
