With one last chance to make an impression on viewers, So You Think You Can Dance finalist Robert Roldan didn't let a wardrobe malfunction stop him from showing off his moves.

"I just wanted to go out there and dance my butt off!" Roldan told UsMagazine.com backstage Wednesday after his performance. "Literally — my pants ripped!"

Still, the 19-year-old California native admitted that he felt a bit anxious before taking the stage with fellow contestants Lauren Froderman and Kent Boyd.

"There's always nerves, but I tried to keep my cool and thought to myself, 'Just dance!'" Roldan said. "I want to dance and let go and not worry about what people are going to say because this is it, this is all you get, this is the last one!"

But Froderman — who said that her favorite dance was her hip-hop routine with tWitch — wasn't nearly as nervous as Roldan was heading into last night's performance.

"There's really no room for nerves," Froderman told Us. "You have to give it your all and kick butt! I'm very happy about tonight."

Froderman's slick moves impressed judge Mia Michaels, who told the 18-year-old that she wished she could dance like her.

"I don't think I can explain it in words how it feels to have someone you respect so much and someone you look up to [say something like that]," Froderman said. "That was an amazing comment and I feel very, very honored."

And as the final three wait to see who'll be named the winner during tonight's finale (airing on FOX at 8 p.m.), Boyd said that he's proud of his run on the show regardless of the outcome.

"I'm still the same Kent I was when I auditioned, same small-town kid," Boyd, 18, told Us. "I'm going to keep my head on straight and stay grounded. I'm not going to have an ego. That's one of my biggest fears… not being approachable in life. This shows no matter where you want to be in life, you have to just go for it."
