SPOILER: Sunday night's "Commissions and Fees" Mad Men episode ended in tears.

Lane Pryce (Jared Harris) was finally caught by Sterling Cooper Draper Pryce for embezzling. Betram Cooper (Robert Morse) was examining the company's financial records and found the forged check Pryce made for his unauthorized Christmas bonus.

Don Draper (Jon Hamm) called him into his office and told Pryce to think of an "elegant exit" over the weekend. After initially denying the charges, Pryce tearfully said "that was my money."

When Pryce arrived home drunk to his wife Rebecca Pryce (Embeth Davidtz), she surprised him with a new Jaguar. "You never spend on yourself," she said. Pryce vomits and, during the night, attempts to commit suicide using his new car's exhaust, but can't get it to start.

Pryce then traveled back to SCDP's office, typed a letter and hanged himself. When Joan Harris (Christina Hendricks) tried to open his office the next day, she realized it was locked and Pete Campbell (Vincent Kartheiser), Harry Crane (Rich Sommer) and Ken Cosgrove (Aaron Staton) discovered his body through a window. When Roger Sterling (John Slattery) opened Pryce's letter, he said, "It's a resignation letter."

Also in the episode: Draper pursued an account with Dow Chemical and Sally Draper (Kiernan Shipka) "became a woman."
