In full bloom!
The royals have revealed new plans to share the pomp and circumstance of Prince William and Kate Middleton's wedding day with the masses.
On April 29, following the couple's ceremony, floral arrangements will remain at Westminster Abbey for visitors to see and take photos with. Tourists with a London Sightseeing Pass will even get the chance to recreate Middleton's historic walk down the aisle.
Three florists, including Simon Lycett (who did Prince Charles and Duchess Camilla's wedding) are preparing flowers for the grand event. Among the stems: gardenias, lily of the valley, delphinium and roses all grown in Britain. "It will be white and very scented, along the lines of an English garden," a royal courtier told Us.
Yet, while the flowers are all set, the wedding to-do list is still chock full. "There is still much to organize and sign-off," an insider said. "This is the first week that Kate's started to feel a little nervous. Time is ticking!"
