Three months after the tragic passing of Whitney Houston, the late singer's family is still trying to pick up the pieces and come to terms with her death.

Leaning on one another for support, Houston's 19-year-old daughter, Bobbi Kristina, brother Gary, sister-in-law Pat and mother Cissy Houston have decided to open up their lives to Lifetime TV cameras for a new reality series called The Houston Family Chronicles.

Centered around Pat and Gary Houston, the series will follow the couple as they care for Bobbi Kristina, "supporting and guiding [her] as she faces the world alone…without her mother," a network statement released Friday says.

Pat Houston, who acted as Whitney's manager prior to her February 11 passing at age 48, confirms the family's reality show was in the works before her death, but has been revamped in honor to pay tribute to her legacy.

"The unexpected passing of Whitney certainly affects the direction of the show," Pat tells Us Weekly in a statement. "However, it is my hope that others will be enlightened as they watch our family heal and move forward."

The 10-episode series is expected to premiere later this year.
