Jay-Z‘s biggest fan was front and center at his show Friday night.
Beyonce proudly watched her hubby perform at the grand opening of the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York. The 31-year-old mother to Blue Ivy, 8 months, enjoyed the nearly two hour show from the D’USSE VIP Lounge. She was “front and center,” a source tells Us Weekly. “She went crazy singing and dancing to every song.”
Jay-Z, 42, (real name: Shawn Carter) performed his hits like “99 Problems,” “Run This Town” and “Empire State of Mind.”
Beyonce wore a tight black v-neck top, gold belt and gold bracelets. During “Dirt Off Your Shoulder,” Beyonce had some fun by grabbing a flashlight from a security guard and shining it on people in the crowd. “She was having fun a playing with people,” a witness tells Us.
And Jay-Z was having a good time too. The rapper, who grew up in the housing projects of Brooklyn, welcomed the crowd to his “house” and said, “I’ve performed in a lot of places but nothing feels like tonight.” A source tells Us, “He was really emotional during the show.”
Jay-Z recently shot down reports that they are already expecting baby number two. The hip-hop star told E! News earlier this week, “Not in nine months. Absolutely not. Not in one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight or nine months.”
But a source told Us the couple “definitely wants more kids.”
“Jay wants a boy next so they can have one of each,” the pal said. “They’re ready for a baby whenever it happens.”
