Star Wars has its stars! After months of speculation, the official cast list for the J.J. Abrams-directed Star Wars: Episode VII movie has been revealed—and, as rumored, it includes some very familiar names.

Original Star Wars stars Harrison Ford (Han Solo), Carrie Fisher (Princess Leia), Mark Hamill (Luke Skywalker), Anthony Daniels (C-3PO), Peter Mayhew (Chewbacca), and Kenny Baker (R2-D2) are confirmed to appear in the much-anticipated sequel, the Star Wars team announced on Tuesday, April 29. They'll be joined by John Boyega, Daisy Ridley, Oscar Isaac, Lord of the RingsAndy Serkis, Domhnall Gleeson, Oscar winner Max von Sydow, and Girls' Adam Driver.

"We are so excited to finally share the cast of Star Wars: Episode VII," director Abrams said in a statement about the news. "It is both thrilling and surreal to watch the beloved original cast and these brilliant new performers come together to bring this world to life, once again. We start shooting in a couple of weeks, and everyone is doing their best to make fans proud."

Due to arrive in theaters in December 2015, Star Wars: Episode VII is the first of three brand-new installments to come. As previously reported, it's set 30 years after Episode VI: Return of the Jedi.

Rumors about the original cast's involvement in the movie have been circulating since Star Wars creator George Lucas first announced the planned release of new films in the franchise, but nothing had been confirmed until now. "We had already signed Mark and Carrie and Harrison—or we were pretty much in the final stages of negotiation," he said back in March 2013. "Maybe I'm not supposed to say that. I think they want to announce that with some big whoop-de-do."
