Sean Kingston Critically Injured in Jet Ski Accident

Sean Kingston was involved in a Jet Ski accident Sunday, his rep confirmed to Us Weekly.

The 21-year-old singer was driving the watercraft that apparently crashed when it went under a small bridge at about 6 p.m., CNN reported. A female passenger on board was also injured.

On Monday, Kingston's rep told Us: "Sean Kingston is now stabilized and has moved from the trauma unit to ICU. Sean's family thanks everyone for their prayers and support during this time."

Justin Bieber, who collaborated with Kingston on the song "Eenie Meenie," asked fans to keep his pal in their thoughts. "I've got my friend Sean Kingston in my prayers tonight," he tweeted Sunday evening."A true friend and big bro. Please keep him in your prayers tonight as well."

Rihanna also wrote: "Sean, we're praying for you, baby."

Kingston (real name: Kisean Anderson) rose to fame with the single "Beautiful Girls" in 2007. The hit single, along with "My Love" and a collaboration with Phil Collins, were on His 2007 self-titled debut album. In 2009, the Jamaican-American singer released Tomorrow, a 14-song album which included collaborations with Wyclef Jean and Good Charlotte.
