As a redhead who happens to collect vintage Vargas Girl prints (only the redheads, except for that one blonde I found along the West Bank in Paris), I couldn't love Christina Hendricks more. I love her copper locks, creamy skin and her unapologetic pin-up figure. For the Mad Men premiere in L.A. on July 20, Hendricks wore gorgeous golden nude makeup with her black lace gown.
What inspired her makeup artist, Vanessa Scali?
"Christina's sultry Dolce & Gabbana dress inspired a softer version of the 'La Dolce Vita' makeup look," she tells UsMagazine.com. Scali used a matte rosy nude lipcolor to give the look a modern twist.
The lip color was paired with a rich golden brown on lids, winged out for a fabulous Glamazon effect, and a dusty pink blush on cheeks.
