Leonardo DiCaprio, Chace Crawford Costar in Environment PSA

Leonardo DiCaprio, Chace Crawford, Emmy Rossum, Felicity Huffman and Justin Long are starring in a new project called "This Is Our Moment" — but this one won't be in the theaters. The actors have come together to film a new PSA for the NRDC Action Fund, urging Americans to do their part to support the American clean energy bill.

"This is our moment — our moment to fight for a cleaner and more secure future," DiCaprio says. "The time is now for people across the country to stand up and have their voices heard. We all must call on the Senate to act on this historic opportunity."

The Clean Energy, Jobs and American Power Act passed the House of Representatives in June 2009. The legislation is now pending in the Senate, and the actors are asking Americans to visit the Web site to contact senators and share personal videos in support of the bill.

In the video, Long and Forest Whitaker explain that the clean energy bill not only cuts pollution and reduces dependence on foreign oil, but it also creates jobs that can't be outsourced.

The organization's Web site, This Is Our Moment, also allows citizens to become involved by spreading the message through Twitter, Facebook, embeddable widgets and blogs.

"Americans want real action to address climate change and move our country toward a clean energy future," NRDC president Frances Beinecke says.
