Not-so-merry Christmas!

Jessica Simpson has ticked off a singing group of Iraq and Afghanistan veterans — who claim the singer cut them from her Detroit Public Television Christmas special after her team disapproved of their wardrobe for the performance.

New York Post's Page Six reports that singers 4Troops, were told that their camouflage fatigues weren't appropriate to wear onstage while singing with Simpson, 30. (The special filmed at NYC's Roseland Ballroom on Thursday.)

A source told the paper, "Jessica's dad, Joe Simpson, effectively kicked them off the show because he didn't like what they were wearing. They were in camo pants and blazers, the same outfits they wore to sing for Gen. David Petraeus on the USS Intrepid. They were told they couldn't perform unless they were wearing tuxedos."

A 4Troops spokeswoman sniped: "Joe should be ashamed of himself."

Added 4Troops  singer Sgt. Daniel Jens (who served in Iraq in 2007): "I am so disappointed and angry, I threw up when I got back to my room."

A rep for Simpson denies the charge, explaining, "The song was cut due to time. Jessica wasn't even aware. She is wholeheartedly devoted to the troops…The military was the source of inspiration for her entire Christmas album."
