Hear Justin Bieber’s Mature New “Boyfriend” Single

The wait is over!

On Monday, Justin Bieber, 18, released his new single “Boyfriend” from his forthcoming album, Believe. Co-written by Bieber, Mike Posner, Mason D. Levy and Mat Musto, the song reveals a more mature side of the Canadian pop star.

(Sample lyrics: If I was your boyfriend, I’d never let you go / I can take you places you ain’t never been before / Baby take a chance or you’ll never ever know / I got money in my hands that I’d really like to blow.)

Bieber, who has been dating fellow pop star Selena Gomez, 19, since 2010, previously told Us Weekly that his new album would feature “a lot of new stuff that people wouldn’t expect!”

Bieber is the first solo artist in Billboard history to have three No. 1 albums before turning 18. His new album, Believe, is due this summer.
