Nate Archibald doesn't do diapers!
Chace Crawford will be Uncle Chace imminently when sister Candice Crawford gives birth to her first child with husband Tony Romo.
"It's been a crazy experience," the Gossip Girl actor, 26, told Us Weekly at Duracell's Rely on Copper to Go for the Gold event held in NYC on Wednesday. Dallas TV personality Candice, 24, is just about ready to give birth, her brother revealed.
"It's coming right up! Yeah. In the next couple weeks."
Once shooting for Gossip Girl wraps up in Manhattan, the actor is jetting home to Texas to await the birth. "I'm done next Friday on the show and then I'm going to go home," he explained.

To prep for first-time uncle-hood, Crawford (who next stars in What to Expect When You're Expecting with Jennifer Lopez and Cameron Diaz) has a novel way to prepare. "I might get a dog simultaneously so I can just, you know, have a little bit of responsibility," he joked.
How hands-on will he be with the baby-to-be? "Help with the kid and hand it back to her. I don't know if I’ll be changing any diapers . . .I get to slowly work to that, right?"
Crawford is also close with his brother-in-law Tony Romo, quarterback for the Dallas Cowboys. (As it happens, Crawford's most famous ex, Jessica Simpson, is also the late stages of pregnancy, expecting her first child with fiance Eric Johnson.)
"He's over-the-moon excited about it," Crawford said of Romo, 31. "He's just such a wonderful person . . . he was born ready to have a family, you know what I mean? So it makes perfect sense."
Crawford can't wait to watch — and learn! — from his buddy's first-time experience as a dad. "I'm basically going to see him go through it, and maybe I'll take pages from his book!"
