No need to book Westminster Abbey!
Paul McCartney‘s fiancee Nancy Shevell says the couple’s upcoming nuptials will be small.
Shevell, 51, tells the New York Post the wedding will be “soon” and include “just our families. I don’t know the exact date. And don’t ask what I’ll wear because how dressy do you get to stand before a Justice of the Peace in his chambers, which is exactly what we’re going to do.”
The NYC businesswoman adds: “I’d love to live [in New York] but it’s probably England. I still have a job [in New York] so I’ll commute once a month.”
A source tells Us Weekly the former Beatle, 68, proposed in April “during a romantic candlelit dinner for two” after four years of dating. As for the ring? It’s estimated to be worth an impressive $650,000!
This will be Shevell’s second marriage and McCartney’s third. The rocker’s first wife Linda, died of cancer at age 56 in 1998. His second marriage to Heather Mills in 2002 ended with a messy, expensive divorce in 2008.
