Teen Mom 2 star Leah Messer is on the move.
Five days after the 18-year-old filed for divorce from Corey Simms, her husband of six months, Messer took twins Aliannah and Aleeah, 16 months, to the Charleston, West Virginia Airport.
Accompanied by her best friend and mother, the MTV reality star showed few signs of distress as she boarded the plane. Teen Mom 2 fans shouldn't be too surprised to see the couple split: Messer recently opened up to Us Weekly about her hesitancy to settle down with Simms, 20.
"I didn't want to jump into something else and be like, 'Oh, s**t! What did we do?'" Messer explained. "Three years ago, back before I was pregnant, I never thought I'd be married now. I was scared because a lot of people who marry young end up divorcing within a year."
Leah's mom, Dawn, shared her daughter's concern. "My mom and dad married, divorced, remarried and divorced again," Messer told Us. "I don't want my girls to go through that. My mom talked to me because she wed at 16 and didn't want me to go through a divorce like she did."
