Oscars Outdoors is ending their summer screening series with a special celebration of the late Nora Ephron.

The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences will screen the writer/director's Julie & Julia as the final film being shown in the series on Sept. 7 at 7:30 p.m. at the open-air theater on the Academy Hollywood campus.

To kick-off the night, Evan Kleiman, chef, restaurateur and radio host of KCRW's Good Food, will host a discussion with some of Ephron's friends and colleagues.

Ephron — the legendary screenwriter and filmmaker whose credits include When Harry Met Sally, Sleepless in Seattle and You've Got Mail — passed away at age 71 after a private battle with acute myeloid leukemia.

Meryl Streep, who starred in Julie & Julia, wrote to the New York Times: "Nora just looked at every situation and cocked her head and thought, 'Hmmmm, how can I make this more fun?' . . . You could call on her for anything: doctors, restaurants, recipes, speeches, or just a few jokes, and we all did it, constantly. She was an expert in all the departments of living well."
