Freida Pinto was out to make a statement when she hit the red carpet in her two-tone Michael Angel gown, but according to some Us Weekly Fashion Police cops, her ensemble would have been better fit for a bakery window.
"She looks like a meringue," one cop exclaimed over the actress' strapless gown with a multicolored sequin bodice and draped petal pink skirt. "She looks like she's ready to eat!"
The 27-year-old actress' Cannes dress from last month wasn't the only fashion risk that is still being buzzed out. Jaime King flashed her midriff in a Proenza Schouler two-piece, although Fashion Police cops were in agreement that the look was better suited for the beach than the CW Upfront party.

"I'm looking for a bikini top like that at the moment, but I would wear it to the beach, not out in public!" one cop admitted.
