Last year, there was Bikini Girl.
This year, there's Bikini Boy.
On Tuesday's American Idol, contestant Ty Hemmerling gave the judges an eyeful when he appeared onstage in a barely-there swimsuit.
As he struggled to perform Billy Ray Cyrus' "Achy Breaky Heart," he began to shimmy, prompting all the judges to storm out of the Denver audition.
"Don't move your hips like that, honey," sniped Kara DioGuardi. "It's not a good look."
"Bikini boy" wasn't thrilled.
"That's kind of rude," he snapped as the judges walked out. "I think you should at least stay."
The 25-year-old Denver native then pleaded, "Kara, please stay! Can I get a hug?"
Hemmerling wasn't the only contestant to strip down on Idol.
Casey James, a 27-year-old long-haired musician from Texas, failed to impress Simon Cowell, but he wooed DioGuardi, 39, and guest judge Victoria Beckham.
Beckham, 35, asked him to ditch his ponytail and put his hair down.
"He looks like a model," DioGuardi remarked, adding that he had "a great look."
She told him to work on his personality, and James said he's willing to do anything he "needs to do" to succeed.
DioGuardi then asked him to take off his shirt.
James complied – and the female judges squealed with delight.
