The biggest accessory at Sunday's Golden Globes: An umbrella!
Beverly Hills got hit with a downpour before the show – and stars were fighting to keep dry.
Big Love nominee Chloe Sevigny complained on NBC's pre-show that they should've put up a "tarp" on the red carpet.
Kate Hudson said she almost didn't wear her white Marchesa dress. An hour before she left, it was "nice" out, she said. But then the rain began and she almost had to change.
"It was a question for a second: Do I go white?" she said on NBC's pre-show.
Jen Garner, in Atelier Versace, had to rely on hairspray. "It was an Aquanet kind of day," she said on E!'s pre-show.
Sandra Bullock, in Bottega Veneta, said on NBC's pre-show that she was "wet! But I am wearing a plastic dress so I am OK."
If her hair got wet, however, she said she'd turn into a "Chia Pet."
Ryan Seacrest, host of E!'s pre-show, wasn't worried about getting wet. While he was walking, a guy moved an umbrella over him and Seacrest told him, "Don't worry. It won't do anything. There's enough spray [points to head] it won't even move."
Paul McCartney didn't take any chances: He used a huge umbrella as he walked the red carpet.
Penelope Cruz, in Armani Prive, carried her own umbrella: "I'm not Puff Daddy," she said on E!'s pre-show. "I hold my own umbrella!"
Modern Family's Sofia Vergara said she hoped too many stars wouldn't worry if they got a little wet: "We're not M&M's," she told E!'s Seacrest. "We're not gonna die!"
