Having shunned her former friends Caroline Manzo and Jacqueline Laurita, Teresa Giudice had no one left to bond with other than her brother, Joe Gorga, and on Sunday's Real Housewives of New Jersey, the controversial mom of four tried to do just that.
After declaring she didn't "need" therapy, Giudice acquiesced to her brother's request and attended a group session to get to the root of their bitter feud. "I'm about to go to therapy and if it doesn't work, I want my money back," she sniped.
From the get-go, Gorga had an idea the session — which also included individual on-camera counseling — would lead to fireworks. "By the time we're done, that therapist is going to need a therapist," he joked.
Indeed, the duo were at each other's throats, fighting over things including Giudice's finances and her treatment of their parents. Though Gorga denied ever needing therapy ("I'm the sanest man you'll ever meet," he quipped), his sister felt differently, and didn't hesitate to tell the therapist so.
"There's just something he cant get past. All I've tried to do was love his wife [Melissa], his children…I'm not a grudge holder," Giudice said. "I'm damned if I do, damned if I don't. I try to do the right thing and I'm knocked down by him."
Attempting to end their session on a high note, Giudice insisted that she and her brother's family share an RV during an upcoming trip to Napa Valley, Calif. — despite their therapist's hesitations.
Agreeing to put their differences aside for the time being, Gorga issued a word of warning to his sister ahead of their vacation: "If you step out of line, I'm going to strap you to the bumper and drag you there!"
