The fallout from Strippergate continues!
Teresa Giudice accused former friend Jacqueline Laurita of setting her up on Sunday’s Real Housewives of New Jersey finale and when the women reunite for the Bravo hit’s season 4 reunion, Laurita again confirms Giudice was indeed the one who started the rumor that her sister-in-law Melissa Gorga was once a stripper.
“When [Melissa and Joe Gorga] were originally coming on the show, I felt bad for Teresa because I know she didn’t want them on the show. She wanted me to call them out on everything,” Laurita — who had a major falling out with Giudice during season 4 — admits in a preview from Sunday’s part one of the reunion.
When Giudice alleges that Laurita would make nasty comments about the Gorgas when cameras weren’t around, Laurita flips. “You were telling me what to say and making me uncomfortable. I had other s–t going on in my life and you didn’t give a f–k!” she snaps. “All you cared about was exposing them. You wanted me to call out that Melissa was a stripper, you wanted me to call out [cousin] Kathy [Wakile], that she didn’t get a designer bag until she was 40, like that meant something.”
Giudice continues to maintain her innocence, but Laurita isn’t buying it. “You are a liar, you’re sick — you’re going to Hell!” she seethes in the clip above.
Insinuating that Gorga was once a stripper at a New Jersey gentlemen’s club when in fact she was a bartender, Giudice’s betrayal of her sister-in-law cuts especially deep for the Gorga family.
“If she admitted she set me up, I would hear her out,” Gorga tells the new issue of Us Weekly. “But if I forgave her, who’s to say she wouldn’t strike again? And who knows if it’s not going to be more desperate next time, with her planting crazier stories. Why should I trust her? I’m not going to take the chance of letting her hurt me. I’m officially done.”
