Break-up rumors were rampant last week, but former first daughter Chelsea Clinton, 30, and hubby Marc Mezvinsky, 32, looked very much in love holding hands and beaming at each other at the American Foundation of AIDS Research Gala in NYC last night.
And Marie Clinton Bruno, a cousin of President Bill Clinton, concurs. "All is very well [with Marc and Chelsea]," she tells UsMagazine.com
Decked out in full black-tie glamour, the duo mingled with fellow A-listers including Blake Lively, Richard Gere, Julianna Margulies, and Elton John at swanky downtown restaurant Cipriani.
The charity event was one of the first public outings for the pair since their lavish Rhinebeck, NY wedding last July, which had a rumored price tag of more than $ 1 million.
And while Clinton kept mum on the split reports, she couldn't help but gush over her father's work on behalf of AIDS research.
"That's a good reason to be proud," she said, while presenting her pop with an honorary award. "An even better reason to be proud is he hasn't stopped."
